Dog waste trauma
Strange how a traumatic event with dog poop as a 5 year old boy in my Sunday best trousers, my hysterical Mothers reaction to me falling into that awful dog poop. I can still see it and smell it!
How this distressing event would stay with me subconsciously many decades later. Coming full circle to the surface during the Covid lock downs.
Always since that event my eyes were scanning for poop that I may tread in or fall in. A simple walk in the park or street became a scanning process.
As years passed it faded but never ceased to bother me how it was allowed that Dogs could defecate pretty much anywhere in public areas.
Covid, and many walks on canals, parks, countryside and public places renewed my frustrations of this huge, highly unpleasant dog soiling problem.
How could it be improved or stopped?

Since discovering a life changing illness, I realized along with my family that a complete change of work and lifestyle was required in order to not only heal but enjoy life and nature more.
From a very sedentary indoors profession to outdoors physical work was a must.
But the reasons we started this service was far more than that.
Firstly we get to meet dozens of lovely dogs, make a difference in helping people with busy lives but also people who aren’t so busy but unable to do this chore for their dogs.
Secondly, attempt to have an huge impact on habits and practices.
Improve the hygiene and safety of people, dogs and the environment.

We will clean any areas of your property that have dog waste issues, including front, back, and side yards, flower beds, dog runs, etc.
Yes we do! we provide dog waste removal services all year-round. Most weathers we will still show up to provide scoop services.
So are we. Safety is a top priority at PoopweScoop for clients and of course their dogs. To ensure, we clean all our shoes and equipment after each visit with a kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs. We also take a photo of your gate when we are finished confirming you know your pets won’t get out of the yard, and we ensure our techs are background checked and well trained. We hire slow, fire fast.
Yes. We have many scooper services and tiers to help everyone. However, pricing is based on number of dogs, the size of the yard, service frequency. Most of our client’s find a suitable and affordable plan to suit them.

Not at all. No contracts! You can start, cancel even pause your subscription at any time by updating your customer portal or simply calling us.
We can take it or leave with you. Proper disposal is essential to environmental safety as dog poop is considered a hazardous material. It is ok to dispose of dogs waste in your bin.
PoopweScoop provide you the choice, leave or takeaway for a small fee.
Yes and no, we love cleaning with dog’s out playing! It all depends on your dogs. You know your dog best. If it’s aggressive or nervous please leave them inside during cleaning visits if there’s doubt. If your dog is out and aggressive towards our team, you will be asked to put them inside or be completely removed from our route. Ensuring the safety of our team is a top priority too.
It depends on our routes and set areas. Not every scoop day will be available in your area. However we don’t need you to be there on the scoop day, so it’s usually not a problem regarding set times.
We don’t provide arrival times for your scooper services. However we text you that we are on our way just to keep you informed, and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. We have to optimize our routes to allow for unforeseen problems, which in turn lowers costs. This we’ve found is far less stressful on all concerned. Also in life in general.
